Meet The Staff

Mark S. Doyle, LNHA,

Administrator

I’m very lucky to be able to come to work and visit with residents I consider family.

I attained my MSBA from Suffolk University of Boston, and in 1994 I received my license to operate a Nursing Home from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

My profession and the industry are constantly evolving. To help provide better care and comfort for our residents at The Terraces Orleans, I keep current on training, certifications and best practices throughout our industry. I am also a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators.

Jo Ann Farley, RN

Director of Nursing Services

“I have worked as an RN at The Terraces Orleans for almost 30 years and acted as the Director of Nursing Services for the last 4 years.  I oversee the overall well being of our residents and cohesiveness of our staff.  I am very proud of our staff and what they offer to our resident’s lives on a day to day basis – a warm and consistently high level of care that is unique to our business.  I like to think of us as an extended family to many of our residents!

Jim DesRosiers, LCSW, LNHA

Assistant Administrator

I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts in the city of Chicopee. As a youngster my family went to the beaches of Rhode Island so I never knew how nice Cape Cod was until the late 1970’s when I came for a short stay and was old enough to realize the beauty that was Cape Cod.

Upon my discharge from the U. S. Army in 1976 I furthered my education at American International College in Springfield obtaining my B. S. in 1980 and my Master’s Degree in 1984. This is when I began working in the healthcare field. I started as a Social Worker at a facility located in my home town. I obtained my Social Work license in 1980 and my Administrator’s license in 1991. I moved to Cape Cod in January of 1996 so I have been on Cape for quite a few years. I have been at The Terraces Orleans since August of 2007 and one could not ask for a better place to be employed. It is truly an amazing facility that is as close to home as possible.

I enjoy boating in the warmer months and skiing in the colder months. I also get a great deal of enjoyment from the family boxer who is named Diego.

Mary McGuire, RN, MEd.

Assistant Director of Nursing Services

How fortunate for me that I was hired to the Assistant Director of Nursing Services position two years ago.  After 25 years of experience in long term care at other skilled nursing facilities in the area, I finally can say I have found a home.

My approach to caring and directing care for our residents is to make the facility as home-like as possible.  I enjoy working but I equally enjoy biking, gardening, and being with my family.  Home is important to me!

Irene Miller

Activity Director

Welcome to The Terraces Orleans where activities are a special part of each day in the lives of our residents. As the Activities Director for almost 24 years at this comfortable, friendly, & homelike facility, I strive to provide a variety of activities which will be of interest to all residents. I look forward to the activities as much as the residents! You will find various music presentations including our own “Rocking Chair Rhythm Band,” as well as sing-a-longs’, holiday parties, special evening event suppers with entertainment, classes, clubs and visits from the Companion Animal Program. All activities involve a lot of socialization and conversation.

I enjoy seeing residents and their families relaxing and having fun. I meet so many wonderful people here at The Terraces Orleans and it’s great to be able to share many new experiences with them.
